Learn how many white blood cells are in one leukopak.

Leukapheresis products may contain 5 to 20 billion white blood cells, depending on the volume of blood processed from the donor during leukapheresis.
In addition to white blood cells, leukopaks also contain plasma, some platelets, and very few red blood cells.
The following table shows the typical cell count you can expect based on the volume of blood processed.

Leukopaks typically consist of approximately 50% T cells, 20% monocytes, 10% B cells, 10% natural killer cells, 3% granulocytes, and 3% hematocrit.
