Mariners Vs. Giants Series Postponed Due To Poor Air Quality
The two-game series has been rescheduled for Wednesday and Thursday in San Francisco.

SEATTLE — The Seattle Mariners will not be playing their previously scheduled two-game series against the Giants at T-Mobile park this week.
The team confirmed the move on Twitter Tuesday afternoon, reporting that both games have instead been postponed and rescheduled for Wednesday and Thursday in San Francisco.
In a statement, Mariners President Kevin Mather cited air quality concerns as the reason for the cancellation:

"Unfortunately, the air quality in Seattle has gotten worse overnight here at T-Mobile Park and is not clearing at all today. Forecasters expect it to clear late Thursday and into Friday morning. As always, the health and safety of the players, and our staff is our first priority."
Early Tuesday, the National Weather Service reported the air across the Puget Sound Region was either in the Very Unhealthy or Hazardous category— meaning residents should limit their time outside and avoid strenuous exercise. Forecasters warn that the air quality will remain poor at least through Thursday and possibly Friday.
The rain showers last night didn't do much to improve air quality around the region. Most locations remain in either the Very Unhealthy or Hazardous category early this morning. #wawx pic.twitter.com/hN5sfL4H1e
