Possible Driveby Leaves Man Wounded In South Park
Gang detectives are on the scene at a Tuesday night shooting.

SEATTLE, WA - A 20-year-old man was shot and wounded Tuesday night in South Park during a possible driveby, Seattle police are reporting. The shooting happened around 9:30 p.m. near the corner of 12th Avenue South and South Donovan Street, which is about one block west of the main South Park commercial strip along 14th Avenue South.
Witnesses told police the victim was with a group of people who were getting out of a car near the scene of the shooting. The shots might have been fired from a dark-colored car in the area, police said. Officers, however, could not locate any such vehicle. King County's helicopter responded to the scene to assist in the search.
The victim was taken to Harborview for treatment, and police said he was recovering on Wednesday morning. The shooting is still under investigation.
