During these visits, PreK and kindergarten families will be meeting individually with their students' teachers for Family Connection visits.

On September 7-8, schools will offer PreK-K Connects, a chance to deepen partnerships and support families who can choose to schedule individual meetings with their student’s teacher, other building specialists, or administrators. They can discuss instructional plans and supports for their students, get referrals to resources, and receive coaching on accessing technology.

JumpStart for Incoming Kindergarten Students

For the 2021-22 school year, the transition to kindergarten for our youngest learners will kick off with Jump Start on August 17 and 18, 9 a.m. - 12 p.m.

During these two mornings, Jump Start schools will offer new kindergartners a gentle introduction to their new school building, staff, and peers.

Families at the 62 participating schools listed below will be invited to pick up their district-provided iPads and/or hotspots, meet the principal, and engage with other families as they drop off and pick up their students.
