School Playgrounds Reopen to the Community June 19

With the reduction of positive COVID cases in Seattle and the end of the 2020-21 school year, Seattle Public Schools is excited to welcome the community back school playgrounds.

All SPS playgrounds will reopen June 19 except for those in use by summer programs. Those playgrounds will be available to the community when students are not present.

The community is asked to follow Washington State Department of Health protocols when using playgrounds and fields. District staff will clean the play toys on school playgrounds once a day Monday-Friday.
