Student Meals During Summer

Seattle Public Schools provides meal service for SPS students. Many meals sites will be open this summer, however all meals by bus and Amazon home delivery will discontinue after June 18.

If Your Family Needs Food Assistance

Summer Meals at SPS School Sites

When: As of June 21, open Monday-Friday, 11 a.m.-1 p.m. (except July 2 and July 5)

What: Pick up a free sack breakfast and lunch meals prepared by SPS nutrition services team. Please see menu below. Because of social distancing health guidance, families and students may not stay at school to eat.

Who: Available for all students, parents and guardians

Reheatable Meals: Monday through Friday reheatable meals are available for all families to pick up at school sites.

Weekend Meal Support: Meal support for weekends, provided by the Backpack Brigade and Food For Schools, provides non-perishable food items such as canned goods, snacks, juice, etc., is available for all families in need to pick up on Fridays.

How to Pick Up Student Meals

  • School site locations and specific directions for each site are provided.
  • If you need ADA accessibility support, staff are available to provide access.
  • Students and families cannot stay at the school to eat them because of social distancing guidance from state and local health agencies.
  • All students can pick up meals at these sites. Parents, and guardians may pick up meals for students. Students do not need to be in attendance.
  • If an adult is delivering to non-family members in the community and needs more than 10 meals, they should have an agency badge, be Seattle Public Schools staff, or provide evidence that they are vouched for by Seattle Public Schools staff.
