SEATTLE, WA – It's going to be warm this week. How warm? Warm enough that you can actually refer to it as "hot."

The National Weather Service says that Tuesday should see a temperature of 80 degrees, maybe higher.

If it happens, it will only be the fourth day this year the temperature will have hit that mark.

Wednesday should be even hotter.

Forecasters say that the temperature will reach at least 86 and could even climb to 90 or above.

That would be just the second day this year that the thermometer registered a temperature that high in the area.

It shouldn't last long.

"A push of marine air Thursday should help knock high temps back down into the 70s for the end of the week," forecasters from the National Weather Service say.

The high temperatures prompted the National Weather Service to remind people to be careful while outside, particularly while in the car.

Heath related deaths are a significant issue but, they say, they are preventable.
