Seattle's 4th Of July Fireworks 2020 Canceled
Seattle's traditional Fourth of July celebrations are canceled this year, due to coronavirus precautions. Here's what you need to know.
SEATTLE, WA – Fourth of July events across the country will not look the same this year thanks to the coronavirus. Many cities and towns around Puget Sound have been forced to cancel the annual celebrations, including Seattle.
Seafair Summer 4th, which typically draws thousands to Lake Union, is postponed until 2021, along with five other popular events throughout July.
Although Seattle's annual fireworks shows, parades and 5K races have been canceled, some neighboring cities have announced virtual events.
