Sound Transit Holiday Trips: Sounder, Link & ST Express Schedules
Certain train and bus routes will run on reduced hours over the winter holidays in Washington. Here's what riders should know.
SEATTLE — Sounder service, Link trips and ST Express bus routes will run on a limited schedule over the coming holidays, with many trips reduced or canceled. Those who choose to travel are required to wear face coverings and maintain proper distancing on all Sound Transit routes, according to public health directives.
Here are a few changes riders should be aware of:
Christmas Eve & New Year's Eve

- Link, Tacoma Link and ST Express buses will run regular weekday service.
- There will be no service on the Sounder North line.
- Sounder South trips will depart at the following times only:
- Northbound from Lakewood
- 4:36 a.m.
- 5:26 a.m.
- 6:26 a.m.
- 6:46 a.m.
- Southbound from Seattle
- 3:35 p.m.
- 4:15 p.m.
- 5:20 p.m.
- 6:30 p.m.
Christmas Day & New Year's Day
- All Sounder commuter rail service will not operate.
- Link, Tacoma Link and ST Express bus routes will run on Sunday schedules.
