SPD Blotter: Detectives Investigating Double Shooting In North Seattle

Detectives are investigating after a man and woman were both shot early Wednesday morning in the Haller Lake neighborhood.

At around 12:45 a.m., multiple 911 callers reported hearing shots near the 1200 block of North 137th Street. Before police arrived, a citizen transported the two victims – a 29-year-old man and a 31-year-old woman – to a hospital in a personal vehicle.

At the hospital, the victims told officers they had been sitting in their parked car when the shooting occurred. The suspect pulled up to their car in a different car, fired more than ten shots, and then fled the scene. Both victims were shot in the leg.

Detectives responded to the scene to collect evidence and continue to investigate this incident.
