Online sales

Consumer fireworks can be bought and sold online, but they need to follow several restrictions:

  • Fireworks must be delivered to the buyer at a licensed fireworks stand during the legal sales period. They cannot be shipped to a private home or any other business that isn't a fireworks stand.
  • The fireworks sold must be legal both in Washington state and in the jurisdiction where the sale is happening.
  • The purchase or receipt of fireworks online must be made through a retailer who is licensed in Washington state.
  • The seller must post the license number and expiration date of their firework sales license online.
