Armed Standoff In Shoreline Ends With Woman's Arrest
The woman was barricaded in a home armed with a gun, according to the King County Sheriff's Office.
SHORELINE, WA — A Shoreline woman was arrested late Saturday night after an armed standoff along 15th Avenue Northeast, according to the King County Sheriff's Office.
The incident unfolded at a residence near the intersection of 15th Avenue Northeast and Northeast 158th Street. Deputies responded to reports of a domestic violence situation, and arrived at the scene to find a woman barricaded inside a home armed with a gun. She was alone inside the home, police said.
The county SWAT team, TAC30, responded. After more than 3 hours, the woman surrendered and was taken to the King County Jail, according to the sheriff's office.
