Brightmont Academy Teacher of the Month - David Garlock

Brightmont Academy has selected David Garlock as their Teacher of the Month from staff at all 11 campuses. David has recently been promoted as lead teacher at Brightmont Academy, Seattle campus located in Northgate. Since July 2014, he has been teaching at Brightmont, specializing in math and science. His versatility also enables him to teach with a wide range of subject competencies. He is a very positive teacher who presents curriculum in creative ways, and is able to engage even the most reluctant learner. Students often request David and tend to enroll with him for multiple subjects.

David also served on the national Brightmont Academy Advisory Board, representing teachers in strategic discussions that include parent, student, professional practitioner, community leader, and teacher perspectives.

Seattle Campus Director Marcia Rodes says, "David is a caring, calm, computer savvy lead teacher who is versatile teaching across the curriculum with an exceptional ability to engage students and encourage their love of learning."
