Concert, Teen Dance, Heads-Up: Today in Shoreline-Lake Forest Park

The weather’s still holding, it’s the end of July and you can put off thinking about back to school until it’s officially August. Here are things to check out Wednesday, July 31:

•The Shoreline-Lake Forest Park Arts Council invites you to enjoy a concert in the park with the bluegrass music of the Downtown Mountain Boys. The free concert is 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Animal Acres Park, 178th Street and Brookside Boulevard in Lake Forest Park.

•The Dale Turner Family YMCA offers Teen Dance Club on Mondays and Wednesdays from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m.

•Heads-up: The city of Shoreline will be holding an Employee Appreciation Event from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at City Hall. As a result most services provided at City Hall including permitting, licensing, and City Clerk services will not be available during this time.
