Aurora Ave. Closed After Car Crashes Into Utility Pole
The crash happened around 3:30 p.m. Tuesday north of Lake Ballinger, blocking all northbound lanes.

SHORELINE, WA - A crash along Aurora Avenue north of Lake Ballinger might make a mess of the evening commute. The northbound lanes were completely blocked near 224th Street Southwest due to a crash.
According to Edmonds police, a car crashed into a utility pole, knocking power lines in the area down.
"There are no good detour routes for northbound traffic! Please avoid the area," Edmonds police wrote on Twitter.

About 18 customers near the crash were without power Tuesday afternoon, according to the Snohomish PUD.
