DUI Suspect Crashes Into Guard Rail: Shoreline Police Blotter

The following blotter items range from July 18 through July 21. Information on arrests is supplied by the Shoreline Police Department. The reports do not indicate a conviction.

July 18

DRUNKENNESS: A subject was found passed out in the bushes near Walgreens, 14510 Aurora Ave. N.

SUSPICIOUS CIRCUMSTANCE: Police made contact with people who were digging through the garbage and casing vehicles at Aegis, 15100 1st Ave. N.

BURGLARY: Police investigated a residential burglary in the 300 N. 175th St. The back basement door was kicked in.

July 19

RAPE/ASSAULT: Police took a report of a sexual assault at the Rodeway Inn, 14817 Aurora Ave. N.

DUI COLLISION: A man was arrested on suspicion of DUI after he hit a guard rail in the 18300 block of 5th Ave. NE and then attempted to drive himself home. 

VEHICLE THEFT: A scooter was stolen from the parking lot at Safeway, 15332 Aurora Ave. N.

BURGLARY: A residential burglary was reported in the 19500 block of 5th Ave. NE. Access was gained through a forced window, and electronics were stolen. For more, click here.

July 20

TRESPASS: A subject was trespassed from the Drift on Inn Casino, 16708 Aurora Ave. N, after causing a disturbance. 

July 21

DUI: A subject was arrested after driving the wrong way on Aurora Avenue North.
