SHORELINE, WA — The friends of an 18-year-old Shoreline woman who died in a car crash this week have started a fundraiser to pay for costs related to the teen's funeral and memorial ceremony.

Lauren Bianco died after she crashed into a wooded area near Fremont Avenue and North 185th Street sometime after midnight on Tuesday. She was found at around 5 a.m. by a passerby who noticed a damaged fence.

Bianco had just graduated from Shorewood High School in June, and was set to begin studying journalism at Washington State University in the fall.
