SHORELINE, WA - Serious thunderstorms walloped the region Thursday afternoon, and that includes setting a Shoreline treehouse on fire. The fire department reported that a bold of lightning hit the tree, setting the treehouse on fire. Thankfully, firefighters were able to put the fire out before it spread to the actual house.

The fire was reported along the 19200 block of Ashworth Avenue North, according to the fire department. No one was hurt.

The department posted a video of the scene on Facebook - and one person rightfully commented that it was a "treehouse of horror" (a reference to the annual "The Simpson's" Halloween show).
