Several Local Restaurants Closed Over Violations: King County

LAKE FOREST PARK, WA - King County health inspectors have closed a number of local restaurants recently over health code violations. The closures are temporary, and the restaurants will reopen once they correct the code violations. Closed: August 11, 2017 at 11:42 am
Reasons: Handwashing facilities not working; not working out of an approved commissary; imminent health hazard: no water available
Status: Closed

Anjappar Chettinad Indian Restaurant, 14625 NE 24th St, Bellevue
Closed: August 14, 2017 at 4:00 pm due to the following food safety violations:
Reasons: Inadequate hot water supply to hand sinks; adulterated food; improper raw meat storage; improper cooling; room temperature storage; improper chemical storage; improper hot holding; more than 90 critical violation points.
Status: Closed

Coffee Sensation, 19305 55th Ave NE, Lake Forest Park
Closed: August 11, 2017 at 6:00 pm
Reasons: Operating without a valid permit; imminent health hazard: No access to commissary or warewashing facilities
Status: Closed

Samurai Noodle, 606 5th Ave. S., Seattle
Closed: August 8, 2017 at 11:20 am
Reasons: Potentially hazardous foods at unsafe temperatures; poor personal hygiene practices - handwashing; handwashing facilities inaccessible; food not protected from adulteration; failure to correct repeated violations
Status: Reopened August 9, 2017 at 2:20 pm
