Shoplifting Suspect Tackled at Home Depot: Shoreline Police Blotter
The following blotter items range from July 14 to July 17. Information on arrests is supplied by the Shoreline Police Department. The reports do not indicate a conviction.

July 14
THEFT: Police investigated a shoplifting incident at Sears.
BURGLARY: Police responded to a burglary in the 210 block of N 158th St. Items were taken from an unsecured detached garage.
July 15
BURGLARY: Police responded to a burglary in the 14500 block of 27th Ave. NE. Furniture, bedding and accessories were stolen from a home that was staged for sale.
AUTO THEFT: A vehicle was stolen while parked overnight at the Highlander House apartments, 1115 N 183rd St.
THEFT: A shoplifting suspect was tackled by a loss prevention officer as he attempted to steal spray paint at The Home Depot, 1335 N 205th St.
BURGLARY: Electronics were stolen from a home in the 17800 block of 24th Ave. NE. Entry was gained by prying open a rear sliding door.
July 16
SHOPLIFTING: Police investigated a shoplifting incident at Fred Meyer, 18325 Aurora Ave. N. A person had attempted to steal underwear by concealing the item and leaving the store without paying.
July 17
SUSPICIOUS CIRCUMSTANCE: A female subject was found lying naked in the middle of the roadway near Northwest 205th Street and 3rd Avenue Northwest. She was extremely intoxicated and unable to explain what happened. She was transported to a local hospital for further evaluation.
