Shorecrest Girls Tennis Clinches League Title, After Win Over MLT

Shorecrest's girls tennis team knocked off Mountlake Terrace 5-2 Monday afternoon at Shoreline Park to clinch the Wesco 3A League regular season title with a 15-1 record. 

The Scots' Meera Limaye defeated the Hawks' Stefani Roesli, 6-1, 6-2 in the No. 1 singles match to lead Shorecrest to the win.

Other Shorecrest winners included:

Jennifer Sui beat Nancy Nguyen, 6-2, 6-0 in No. 2 singles.

Haley Monson and Janie Uppinghouse defeated Nicki Bouche and Gill Braden Armstrong, 3-6, 6-4, 7-6 (7-4) at No. 1 doubles.

Keegan Monson and Lauren Rutter beat McKayla Floe and Andrea Giuffrida, 6-2, 6-2 at No. 2 doubles. 

Elissa Sutlief and Rosa Rice-Pelepko beat Alysha Raza and Madison Haney, 6-2, 6-2 at No. 3 singles.
