Shoreline Police Blotter: Woman Smacks Her Boyfriend After Night of Drinking, Goes to Jail

The following blotter items from Feb. 5 – Feb. 12 and information on arrests were supplied by the Shoreline Police Department. The reports do not indicate a conviction.

February 5

ASSAULT: A woman smacked her boyfriend in the face multiple times after a night of drinking in the 300 block of N.E. 151st St. She was booked into jail on a fourth degree assault charge.

VANDALISM: Someone used a rock to smash the windows on multiple vehicles in the 19000-19200 block of 15th Ave. N.W.

LARCENY: A man said someone took $500 from his checking account when inadvertently left his debit card in the ATM at Bank of America, 15401 Westminster Way.

VANDALISM: A maintenance person at the Innis Arden Clubhouse, 1430 N.W. 188th St., reported vandalism there.

February 6

 

CONTROLLED SUBSTANCES: A suspicious vehicle was stopped by police for suspected prostitution activity at 145th St and Aurora Ave. N. The driver was arrested for a no-contact order violation and found to be in possession of meth, heroin and oxycodone.

 

CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE: Someone inadvertently brought marijuana into Shoreline District Court, 18050 Meridian Ave. N.

 

VANDALISM: Someone used a rock to break a window at Cribbs Law Offices, 1845 195th Ave. N.W.

 

BURGLARY: A woman’s ex-boyfriend entered her home in the 18000 block of Densmore Ave. N. without permission and left inflammatory notes around the house and texted her incessantly with threatening messages.

 

VANDALISM: Police found New Norte gang graffiti on the east wall of the Royal Unicorn, 615 N.W. Richmond Beach Road including RAZA X4 NORTE SK ALL DAY, with the S in SK crossed out. There was also a swastika, the word N*GGER, and what appeared to be the word P*SSY. The graffiti was photographed and cleaned off.

February 7

 

BOAT MOTOR STOLEN: A boat motor was taken from the front yard of a home in the 18000 block of Ashworth Ave. N.

 

February 8

 

BURGLARY: A vacant two-story yellow house in the 230 block of N. 158th St. managed by Preview Properties had a stove removed.

 

ASSAULT: Two Shorecrest students agreed to fight each other off campus at the parking lot on 25th Ave. N.E. and N.E. 160th St. The suspect ran over the victim with a car and drove off.

 

February 9

 

MENTAL COMPLAINTS: A man in the 19400 block of Aurora Ave. N. was depressed and intoxicated. He is unemployed and lost his home due to foreclosure. He threatened to kill himself and blow up a home.

 

DUI: A man was stopped for speeding in the 2300 block of N. 155th St. He was arrested for DUI after his blood alcohol content was found to be 0.14.

 

February 10

 

VANDALISM: New graffiti tags of KHAOS, KAOS, RBC and DAK were found in white, gold, red and black pen at Richmond Beach Community Park.

 

MAIL THEFT: A victim in the 20300 block of Greenwood Ave. N. said someone stole mail from a mailbox at the end of the driveway for the third time in the past eight months.

 

ASSAULT: A man at the Forest Villa Condos in the 700 block of N. 160th St.  was arrested for fourth degree assault domestic violence after punching his brother in the nose two times. He then fled police, jumped off the first story balcony and was tazed.

 

SUICIDE ATTEMPT: A suicidal male attempted suicide by cutting his wrists in the 170 block of N.E. 146th St.

 

February 11

 

LARCENY: A cell phone was taken from a girl’s backpack at Einstein Middle School.


LARCENY: Someone stole a bag with a wallet inside from a gym locker at Spartan Recreation Center.

February 12

SUICIDE ATTEMPT: A female person drank Pine Sol at her apartment in the 15100 block of Stone Lane N. Shoreline Fire/EMS transported her to Harborview.

SUICIDE ATTEMPT: A person at Ballinger Commons, 20000 Bagley Dr. N., overdosed on pills and alcohol.
