Shoreline Stands In Solidarity With Asian And Asian American Communities
No one should be subjected to threats or physical and psychological harm. It is our collective responsibility as a community to fight hate.

Locally and nationwide, reports of anti-Asian hate crimes and bias incidents have increased in the past year, especially with harmful xenophobic rhetoric and scapegoating Asians for the pandemic and negative economic and social impacts. The City of Shoreline condemns all acts of hate and violence. No one should be subjected to threats or physical and psychological harm. It is our collective responsibility as a community to fight hate.

While Police have not received any reports of anti-Asian attacks in Shoreline, we are aware that members of our community have recently experienced acts of racial hatred. The City of Shoreline stands in solidarity with Asians, Native Hawaiians, and Pacific Islanders, against all forms of racism, harassment, and discrimination, and is committed to upholding anti-racist values so all residents feel safe, respected, and belonging in the community.
