Suspect Arrested in Shoreline 7-Eleven Robbery

Seattle Police say the man suspected of wielding a hatchet in the Shoreline robbery is also suspected in a University District robbery.

Seattle Police arrested a man Thursday that they believe robbed a Shoreline 7-Eleven last week while wielding a hatchet and wearing a mask.

The man, who was taken into custody Thursday afternoon in North Seattle, is also suspected of robbing the Plaid Pantry in Seattle’s University District on June 9, Seattle Police said in a post on the department’s blog.

In the June 26 Shoreline incident, police said the robber stole cigarettes and lottery tickets from the 7-Eleven at 928 N. 160th St.
