Looking for someplace to enjoy the gorgeous weather? The city of Shoreline and the Shoreline-Lake Forest Park Arts Council invite you to check out Swingin’ Summer Eve on Wednesday, July 24.
From the invitation:
“Celebrate the spirit of summer with a community festival, food and live music by Creme Tangerine in Shoreline's beautiful Cromwell Park! Bring the kids and enjoy inflatables, face painting, games and a used book sale sponsored by the Shoreline Council of Neighborhoods.Â

Free admission, small fee for some activities and food.”
The event runs from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Cromwell Park, 18030 Meridian Ave. N., in Shoreline.

•If city policy is more your interest, the Lake Forest Park City Council Finance Committee meets Wednesday at 6 p.m. at City Hall, 17425 Ballinger Way N.E., Lake Forest Park. On the agenda is the second quarter finance report for 2013.
