Three Shoreline Residents Recommended for King County Council Vacancy

They are among five names chosen by a citizens committee.

A citizens committee has narrowed to five the field of applicants to fill the District 1 seat on the King County Council, which will be vacated when Councilman Bob Ferguson is sworn in as state attorney general next month.

Three of the five are from Shoreline.

The committee recommended the names, from a list of 13 initial applicants, to King County Executive Dow Constantine, who will choose three names to forward to the council for appointment.
