Traffic Alert: Northbound I-405, SR 520 to Close July 13-14

Pack your patience this weekend. 

Area drivers will face significant highway closures July 13-14, according to the Washington State Department of Transportation. 

Northbound Interstate 405 through downtown Bellevue and both directions of state Route 520 between I-405 and Montlake Boulevard will be closed.

Northbound I-405 closes at 10 p.m. Friday, July 12, with SR 520 following at 11 p.m. Both highways will be completely open by 5 a.m. Monday, July 15. 

During the combined closure, crews will replace hundreds of failing concrete panels on I-405 and install a very large fish-friendly culvert under SR 520.
