Water, Water, Everywhere: New Exhibit Opening at Shoreline Historical Museum

On Saturday, May 4, at 1 p.m., the museum will open its latest exhibit, "Connections: Surface Water, Piped Water, Wastewater."

We use it in many ways every day, but often don't think about where it comes from or where it goes after we use it.

The Shoreline Historical Museum takes a look at water from start to finish in Northwest King County in its new exhibit, which opens Saturday, May 4, at 1 p.m. Here's how the museum describes the pictorial exhibit:

Throughout the history of humankind, water has been, and continues to be, a most important topic.  Where do we get it?  How do we deal with it when we have too much? Where do we put it when it's "used?" What can we do when we have too little?  We have to have water, but water can also make us crazy.  The rules of water are very black and white:  it always finds the path of least resistance, and it always runs downhill!  Lifetimes have been spent trying to change those rules, or at least fight them.
