Due To Excessive Heat In Region SFD Postpones Remaining June Coronavirus Vaccination Clinics In City Of Spokane
For the safety of our community and fire personnel, SFD is postponing our remaining fire station vaccination clinics for the month of June.

The National Weather Service has issued an Excessive Heat Warning impacting the Spokane area starting the afternoon of June 25th through the evening of Thursday, July 1st.

For the safety of our community and fire personnel, SFD is postponing our remaining fire station vaccination clinics for the month of June. Clinic dates impacted include 6/26, 6/28, 6/29, and 6/30.
“The dangerously hot conditions in the next week may pose a threat to the health of our community members” stated Mike Lopez, Spokane Fire Department’s Integrated Medical Services. “We encourage everyone to stay hydrated and cool indoors.”

Vaccination clinics postponed will be rescheduled for July 2021. Dates, times and locations to be shared at a later date.
