Several Philadelphia Eagles Players Have Ties To Washington
Several Super Bowl champion Eagles came from high schools and colleges across Washington.

SPOKANE, WA - If you watched the Super Bowl on Sunday, you might've noticed an Eagles player with a long braid hanging down his back. No. 50, Bryan Braman, is a 6-1/2 foot tall defensive end from Spokane.
Braman is one of several Eagles players that either grew up on Washington or went to either the University of Washington or Washington State. Braman, 30, attended Shadle Park High School and his coaches noticed his "raw talent."
"I saw a kid with a lot of I call it raw talent," Braman's high school coach, Ivan Corley, told KREM. "When you talk about a kid that can run and jump and rebound - this kid if he keeps working at it, he's got potential."

Braman had his own moment in the Super Bowl when he earned a solo tackle.
Of course, the Eagles head coach, Doug Pederson, is from Ferndale. After graduating from Ferndale High School, Pederson went on to play in the NFL as a quarterback before beginning his coaching career in 2005 at West Cavalry Baptist, a high school in Shreveport, Louisiana.

Other Eagles players with Washington ties include University of Washington graduates Sidney Jones, a cornerback, and defensive tackle Elijah Qualls. Washington State grads Desinty Vaeao, a defensive tackle, and Dom Williams, a running back, are also on the team. All four, however, were inactive during the Super Bowl.
