Longtime UP business owner James T. Truitt Sr., age 84, passed away January 30th.
He owned and operated Truitt/Seeley Photography in University Place from 1982 until 1998 in Green Firs Village Shopping Center.
He is survived by his wife Marilyn, sons Edward and Bud (wife Lynne), grandsons JT, David, Tom, Ed III (wife Nikki), and great granddaughter Justis.

Before owning his studio, Jim retired in 1977 after 29 years in the Air Force. He was a photographer, artist, soldier, pilot, scout leader, Mason, and Shriner, who touched many lives through his passions.
Viewing will be Tues, Feb. 5, 9-11am at Edwards Funeral Home, 3005 Bridgeport in UP.  A noon Memorial Service will follow at Tyler Masonic Lodge, 2530 Grandview Drive in UP.  You can post rememberences of Jim at www.edwardsmemorial.com
