I-5 Closed Several Hours After Semi Crash
A semi rollover crash spanned both directions of travel on Interstate-5 at Exit 99 near Tumwater for several hours Wednesday.

TUMWATER, WA — A semi rollover crash on northbound Interstate 5 Wednesday morning blocked multiple lanes near exit 99, south of Tumwater, according to Washington State Patrol officials. Trooper Johnna Batiste announced the crash on Twitter around 8:45 a.m. Wednesday.
The wreckage reportedly spanned both directions of travel along I-5, with all southbound lanes blocked and a portion of the northbound lanes also blocked or delayed until the mid-afternoon. Southbound traffic was diverted to the 93rd Avenue Southwest exit.
The initial crash reportedly involved a semi and a passenger car in the northbound lanes, which sent the semi through the median barrier and into the southbound lanes where is collided with a FedEx truck. No one was injured in the initial crash, though Batiste reported at least one injury involving the collision with the FedEx truck.

What we know so far... Collision initially occurred NB I5 between a passenger car and semi (non inj). Semi lost control and pushed through the center barrier in to SB lanes. Semi struck FedEx truck traveling south causing ALL SB lanes to be blocked. (Inj collision) pic.twitter.com/0KROLnulWU
