Deputies Search For Car Theft Suspect

Pierce County Deputies are hoping the public will recognize the suspect who stole a Honda Civic from the Tacoma Dome Station.

TACOMA, WA — The Pierce County Sheriff's Department and Pierce Transit Police are hoping someone will recognize a man who stole a car from the Tacoma Dome Station over the weekend.

According to deputies, at around 5 a.m. Saturday the suspect walked into the lot at Pierce Transit's Tacoma Dome Station, and stole a black Honda Civic. The car was later found abandoned near the intersection of East C Street and East 25th in Tacoma.

Deputies have released several stills from security footage in the hopes that someone might recognize the suspect.

Anyone who recognizes the suspect is asked to call Pierce Transit Police.
