Here's How Windy It Was In University Place Monday

What was the gustiest gust that blew through during Monday's windstorm? The National Weather Service has the figures.

UNIVERSITY PLACE, WA - You heard it, you probably felt it, and it might've even knocked out your power. Monday's strong windstorm brought gusts in excess of 60 MPH to some places along the I-5 corridor. On Tuesday morning, the National Weather Service released data on wind speeds from around Puget Sound.

Locally, the strongest gust, 52 MPH, was recorded at Paine Field. Wind speeds were generally higher north of Everett.
