Most Romantic Restaurants In Washington: 5 Local Eateries Make Top 100 List

UNIVERSITY PLACE, WA - Who knew Tacoma is such a romantic town?

The website OpenTable.com just released its 2017 list of the 100 most romantic restaurants in the U.S., and Washington state had five restaurants on the list - and two of them were in Tacoma.

"These winning restaurants understand that sharing a delicious meal is a universal rite of courtship at any stage of a relationship," OpenTable Chief Dining Officer Caroline Potter said in a release. "Whether diners are out celebrating Valentine's Day or simply connecting over a flirty dinner, this year's honorees excel at setting the table for romance."

The list was released just in time for Valentine's Day. OpenTable compiled the list after analyzing over 10 million reviews of over 24,000 restaurants across the U.S.

Here are the romantic Washington restaurants that made the list:

• Bistron San Martin - Arlington, WA
• El Gaucho - Tacoma, WA
• Over the Moon Cafe - Tacoma, WA
• Gardner's - Olympia, WA
• Montalcino Ristorante Italiano - Issaquah, WA
