Spring 2019 UP For Arts Concert Series Kicks Off Friday
The first of three Friday concerts at the University Place Civic and Library building will showcase the Pacific Northwest Chamber Ensemble.
UNIVERSITY PLACE, WA - UP for Arts on Friday will kickoff its Spring Concert Series with a classical/blue grass performance by the Pacific Northwest Chamber Ensemble, featuring musicians Carson Farley, Clement Reid, and Ian McKnight.
Hosted by UP for Arts, a nonprofit "dedicated to bringing public art to University Place," the Spring 2019 Art & Concert Series will showcase local performers on the last Friday of March and April as well.
Each concert runs from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the University Place Civic and Library building atrium, located at 3609 Market Place W. Additionally, each concert's performers will pair with a visual artist. Joining the Pacific Northwest Chamber Ensemble for the Feb. 22 concert is jewelry artist Judith Lilly.

Tickets to the show are $15 each for adults and $5 for students; UP for Arts members get in free. Yearlong membership subscriptions are available at upforarts.org and cost $60 per household, $35 per individual, and $10 per student.
