Spring Egg Hunt At Chambers Creek This Weekend

All Pierce County residents are invited to the 2nd annual Spring Egg Hunt at Chambers Creek Regional Park this Saturday morning.

UNIVERSITY PLACE, WA - Start celebrating Easter early this weekend by joining the second annual Spring Egg Hunt at Chambers Creek Regional Park, with age-specific egg hunts beginning at 9:30 a.m. April 20.

Three separate egg hunts for kids ages 1-11 years old will be held Saturday morning at 6320 Grandview Dr. W in University Place. In addition to the big egg hunt event, the rain-or-shine celebration will also include a bounce house, photo-ops with the Easter Bunny, face painting, and a variety of vendor booths for shopping.

Egg hunt start times and age brackets are organized as follows:

  • 9:30 a.m.: 1-3 years old
  • 9:45 a.m.: 4-7 years old
  • 10 a.m.: 8-11 years old

The event is free for all Pierce County residents, though parking will be limited at Central Meadows and up the hill at the Pierce County Environmental Services Building. That said, prospective egg hunters are encouraged to come early.

Following the egg hunts, the family-friendly event will continue through 11 a.m.

This year's annual celebration is reportedly sponsored by University Place Modern Dentistry, University Place Recycle and Refuse, and Chambers Creek Foundation.
