University Place Weekend Forecast: Bad Air Quality, Fog, Sun

UNIVERSITY PLACE, WA - A few words to describe the weather we've had this week, and will continue to have this weekend: creepy, dangerous, sunny. A little counter-intuitive, but this weekend we'll continue to have thick, foggy mornings with icy roads and sun in the afternoon.

One curve ball: the National Weather Service has issued an air-stagnation advisory for the entire region until Monday. The stagnant air might trap pollutants and other particulates, creating poor conditions for people with breathing or health problems.

Here's how the creepy, dangerous, and sunny weekend will look like:

Friday Night: Areas of freezing fog after 10pm. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 35. Southeast wind around 7 mph.

Saturday: Areas of freezing fog before 10am. Mostly sunny, with a high near 44. South southeast wind around 7 mph.

Saturday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 39. Southeast wind around 6 mph.

Sunday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 50. Light and variable wind.

Sunday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 39.
