Warmer, Drier Weather Ahead in University Place This Week

After a few weeks of April Showers, the upcoming week in University Place calls for a much drier and warmer weather.

The National Weather Service in Seattle is predicting plenty of sunshine with temperatures climbing to a high of 68 degrees on Wednesday.

Here’s the full forecast for this week:

• Monday: Sunny, with a high near 58. North wind around 9 mph.
• Monday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 35. North wind 5 to 9 mph becoming light east, northeast after midnight.
• Tuesday: Sunny, with a high near 63. Calm wind becoming north 5 to 8 mph in the afternoon.
• Tuesday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 40. Northeast wind 8 to 11 mph.
• Wednesday: Sunny, with a high near 68. Northeast wind 5 to 8 mph.
• Wednesday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 42.
• Thursday: Partly sunny, with a high near 63.
• Thursday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 48.
• Friday: Partly sunny, with a high near 61.
• Friday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 47.
