1 WA JC Penney Store Will Shut Down As Part Of Larger Closures
JC Penney has released the full list of 138 stores it will close this year, and only one is in Washington state.

SNOHOMISH, WA - JC Penney will close 138 stores across the U.S. this year as part of a larger plan to sure-up the company's finances, but only one of those stores in Washington state.
The company on Friday released a full list of stores set to close, and the list indicates that the store in Snohomish, 265 Pine Ave., will close. JC Penney said liquidations at affected stores could begin as soon as April 17.
There are about six JC Penney locations in the immediate Puget Sound area, from Tacoma to Lynnwood. All of those locations are inside shopping malls. The location in Snohomish is unique because it's a standalone location.
