"It is great to be a part of the top 12 again," Fleming said. "It will be interesting to see what ITI’s Benchmark staff put together for the second contest. I am sure it will be a challenging experience."Â
When not spending time with his three daughters, Fleming dedicates his time to his work and as a part-time instructor at the Western Washington Local #66 Sheet Metal Joint Apprenticeship Training Committee. His position exposes him to many industry tools, but ITI's Benchmark software stand out.Â

"The Benchmark certification has provided access to a great set of integrated software tools and support," Fleming said. "Benchmark’s UI (user interface) and customization paths are intuitive and enable quick deliverables."
The Annual International Sheet Metal Competition will take place at Caesars Palace and the Sheet Metal Workers Local #88 in northeast Las Vegas. It is held in conjunction with the 2012 Partners in Progress Conference, which is hosted by a partnership between the Sheet Metal Workers International Association (SMWIA) and the Sheet Metal and Air Conditioning Contractors’ National Association (SMACNA).Â
The detailing category, which allows certified apprentices and journeymen to compete for a new Harley-Davidson motorcycle, is only in its second year with the annual competition. Prior to 2011, only apprentices were permitted to compete. The detailer category brought journeymen to the competition, and it is the only category in which they are allowed to take part.
