Back to School 2012: Lunch Prices

Northshore School District is part of the National School Lunch Program, some schools in the district offer breakfast as well as lunch. All of the schools offer free and reduced meal programs, for more information, check the district’s website here.

Most of the district’s elementary students eat in their classrooms. The exceptions are students at Bear Creek, Cottage Lake, Kokanee  and Woodin, students at those schools eat in cafeteria-type settings. All elementary schools offer a choice of two entrees served with a "Five-Star" salad bar which includes at least two fruit choices, two vegetable choices, a tossed green salad with dressing and milk. Cartons of milk or juice can also be purchased separately.

Students do not need to take cash to school; parents can prepay on their student's accounts by adding cash or checks, or add to the students’ accounts by using credit cards using the PayPams system.

The PayPAMS program accepts Mastercard, Discover and VISA.  PayPAMS will charge $1.95 per payment transaction for a processing fee, according to the district’s website. To set up an account, visit www.paypams.com or call 888.994.5100.

All secondary schools have cafeterias and students choose from deli, Mexican, Italian and grill lunches in addition to a la carte items that are priced separately. Milk is included in the price of a full meal. Cartons of milk or juice can also be purchased separately.
