Woodinville Native Selected to All-Minnesota Intercollegiate Soccer Team

After leading the Macalester College Scots to a fourth-place 6-4-1 league record, defender Erica DeJong has been selected to the All-Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) women's soccer team, according to the Macalester College website.

DeJong, a senior at Macalester, is from Woodinville and graduated from Eastside Catholic High School in Sammamish.

An honorable mention choice last fall as a junior, DeJong led a Macalester defense which posted four MIAC shutouts and a 0.96 conference goals-against average.  On the season, the Scots yielded only 18 goals in 17 matches.
