Susie Egan, owner of in Woodinville, is speaking at the Northwest Flower & Garden Show, Sunday, feb. 12Â Â at 4:45 p.m. in the Hood Room. Egan will be exploring the world of spring ephemerals and how to incorporate thme into the Northwest garden (read a story she ).Â
Egan's focus in recent years has been the study and propagation of native and woodland shade plants particularly of the endangered wildflower, Trillium. She is working towards establishing a national Trillium collection at her Woodinville garden. To date, Cottage Lake Gardens has 45 of the 47 species of Trilliums in the world.
