Floating Billboards on Lake Washington: Eyesore or Ingenious Idea?

KING 5 reports that local entrepreneur Darren Bruce is planning to place 14-foot tall floating billboards on Lake Washington.

The TV station went out with Bruce as he test drove the billboards on the water Thursday.

You may be familiar with Bruce's company's work already; i Alternative Media, also has mobile billboards mounted on trucks, according to the company's website.

KING 5 reports that Bruce was inspired to launch the floating advertisements while driving across the State Route 520 Bridge and realizing how many eyeballs were on the bridge.
