Food Illness Outbreak Traced To Woodinville Restaurant: County
The restaurant was not closed, according to King County, but some health code violations were corrected.

WOODINVILLE, WA - An outbreak of food-borne illness in Woodinville has been linked to a local restaurant, according to county health officials. Health inspectors did find several violations at the restaurant, but the eatery was allowed to stay open after correcting them.
According to King County, three people who ate at the restaurant on Jan. 18 came down with an unidentified bacterial illness. County health officials think the sicknesses might have been caused by either Bacillus cereus or Clostridium perfringens. The county typically does not do lab testing for small outbreaks.
Health inspectors visited the restaurant on Jan. 25 after learning about the illnesses on Jan. 24.

"Investigators identified potential risk factors for bacterial toxin growth, including an incorrect cooling procedure of potentially hazardous foods and improper storage of raw eggs/meats," the county wrote in a bulletin about the outbreak.
The restaurant had a "good" rating under the King County restaurant scorecard after its last inspection.
