Northshore School District Seeking Applicants for Planning Task Force

There are four openings on the 13-member Capital Bond Planning Task Force.

The Northshore School District is currently seeking applicants for the Capital Bond Planning Task Force (CBPTF). There are four openings for parents and community members on the 13-member task force.

These voluntary positions are appointed by the superintendent and run for approximately one year.

The aim of the CBPTF is to prepare a recommended list of capital projects for the Northshore School District Board of Directors to refer to voters in 2014.

The task force usually meets twice a month on the second and fourth Thursdays from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m., subject to member approval. Meetings will take place once a month through the end of December to accommodate the holidays and will continue until a recommendation is completed or until June 2013, whichever comes first. The first meeting is scheduled for Oct. 25.
