Northshore's High Schools Rank High Among WA's Best

U.S. News & World Report placed Ingelmoor High School at number 11 in Washington and 411th in the nation. Woodinville High ranked 811th and Bothell came in at 1,772 in the nation.

 

U.S. News & World Report has released its Best High Schools in Washinton rankings and Ingelmoor High School has come in at number 11. came in at number 21, while Bothell High is number 41.

Ingelmoor was ranked 411th nationally and achieved Gold Medal status by U.S. News. Woodinville High ranked 811th and acheived a silver medal, as did Bothell which ranked at 1,772.

Woodinville High School has a student population of 1,241 students, 429 students are in 10th, 386 in 11th, and 426 in 12th grade. The student body makeup is 52 percent male and 48 percent female, and the total minority enrollment is 15 percent, according to U.S. News' findings. The school employs 54 full-time teachers. 

Students have the opportunity to take Advanced Placement® coursework and exams. The AP® participation rate at WHS is 46 percent. U.S News uses the following academic indicators when compiling its list, the numbers that follow are specific to WHS:

Student/Teacher ratio: 23:1, larger than average

College Readiness: 35.9

Math Proficiency: 2.9; above WA's average, 69 percent proficient, 31 percent not proficient

Reading Proficiency: 3.6; above WA's average, 94 percent proficient, 6 percent not proficient
