Novelty Hill Road Closed Aug. 26-29

Drivers beware: In addition to this weekend's , people in the Novelty Hill area will also have to navigate around a full closure of NE Novelty Hill Road just east of 195th Avenue NE.

The Novelty Hill Road closure begins at 9 p.m. Friday, Aug. 26, and continues until 4 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 29. The closure will allow work crews to move a crane in the roadway.

The work is part of an ongoing . This week crews will also intermittently close lanes during the day on NE Union Hill Road, 195th/196th avenues, and NE 95th Street.

Overnight lane closures will also take place on NE Novelty Hill Road between 6 p.m. Wednesday and 5 a.m. Thursday.
