Pain at the Pump: Gas Prices Nearing $4 Per Gallon in Woodinville
Gas prices are inching close to $4 per gallon at gas stations in Woodinville, but prices are lower than they were the same time last year, according to NPR.

Gas prices in the Woodinville area are approaching the $4 mark for a gallon of regular unleaded fuel as road trip season approaches, but prices aren't expected to reach the levels seen in 2012.
According to NPR, national gas prices are about 15 percent lower than this time last year, due to a spike in crude oil production.
But the pain at the pump is still very real for the average consumer. With Memorial Day only two weeks away, gas prices in Seattle are averaging at $3.96 per gallon -- the statewide average is $3.90. During this week in 2012, regular unleaded fuel cost an average of $4.21 per gallon in the Seattle area, according to GasBuddy.com.
